NEW: 2008 - picnic - 7 tracks, 47:27
blending abstract electronics, acoustic and electric guitars, piano and a bit of jazz.
while not without the usual kaleidoscopic avant-garde edge, 'picnic' is more laid-back and ambient
than other dadala albums, suitable for a lazy sunday morning, an afternoon nap or a late night mindscape.
2006 -
dreams - 12 tracks, 77:58
the dadala album with the most contributors: 17 different artists contributed material ranging from
traditional folk tunes to outre electronica to avant-rock to electro-acoustic abstract soundscapes to
Theremin overdose, Japanese field recordings and more
electronic, avant-garde, jazz improv, soundscape, noise, quasi-minimalist flavors
bookended by a pair of apocalyptic bluegrass drones (yes, real banjo)
Heavy on the cyber-rustic surruralism. also featuring an epic dark ambient piece
.
some individual dadala tracks:
(2006) exclusive to this site: the second* dadala track to combine material from Vedette (from the tracks
'Pastel Painting' and 'Tape Track Lights') and the glad hand ('yes darling, but it is not art', 'oy robinson' and 'spektrikon')
